In late 2011 it became apparent that a large area of Middleton would not be receiving fibre optic broadband. Though this campaign was originally set up for residents of New Forest & Heritage Village we are learning many people are struggling to reach 2Mb, let along the national average of over 9Mb.
This website is designed to keep you up to speed and let you
know what you can do to help in the local area. Though originally designed to keep Heritage Village & New Forest Village residents up to speed it is now becoming clear that this is a much wider issue.
If you live in the Middleton Area of Leeds have a look at our story so far page and get in contact with us.
In the last 6 months this campaign has made considerable progress, and we have already been speaking to BT, Virgin and several other providers to find the best options for our area. Please have a look at out history section to find out more.

This campaign has been set up by local residents working together for the local community. The aim of this website is to provide up to date information on our current circumstances to all residents and potential residents.
If you have never heard of fibre optic broadband please visit our technical page; otherwise please look at our question and answer page and read our story so far and register your interest and keep up to speed with our journey so far page.
If you've seen our posters have you registered? Have a look at our story so far and send us your details to help us along on our journey to super fast broadband.
The more voices there are the better we will all be heard so drop us a line. We are helping to collate this information for Leeds Council to help them with their planning for the broadband rollout.
